My work with a child with a rare genetic disorder was featured in USA Today. She is the first patient to receive a new gene therapy for Sandhoff disease, which is a rare, devastating genetic condition that is closely related to Tay-Sachs disease.

Thanks to the Scandinavian Center of Neurodevelopmental Movement for connecting me with Alissa’s family!
